Why can't Allara tell me the exact cost of my labs?

We understand that knowing all costs upfront is ideal; however, like many things in healthcare, there are some things we can’t know until they are billed - labs is one of them. Here’s why: labs are billed by a third party. Allara will never bill you or collect payment on your lab order (unless you elect). Labs are different for everyone and will be discussed with your provider during your visit, which means the exact number and type of labs can’t be known until you consult with your provider about your unique symptoms
